Recently interviewed by the uber-talented Jim Bergamo of KVUE - TV, Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden introduced the latest technology in her office, the Venus Freeze. If you’ve been looking for a product to rid body fat while tightening the skin, this noninvasive treatment might be for you.
Before the Venus Freeze similar procedures could often be quite painful due to laser burns, however the new Venus Freeze promises to deliver the results you desire without the pain you dislike.
Bridget Brady, 40, is a surgeon, an avid exercise enthusiast and a mother of two. Although she diets and exercises regularly, her last pregnancy left her unable to rid unwanted fat.
“There’s parts of my body that I would like just to be a little tighter and have a little fat reduced on,” said Brady.
When Brady heard about the new Venus Freeze being less time consuming and pain-free, she decided to visit Dr. Walden for more information.
“It uses radio frequency or sound waves to melt fat and tighten the skin,” said Dr. Walden. “What makes this different is that it’s painless - it’s actually pleasant.”
The Venus Freeze uses a magnetic pulse component that induces the release of growth factors required for the sprouting of new blood vessels and the rapid growth of skin cells. An RF component induces collagen and elastin production by creating controlled damage and triggering the skin’s healing process. The intended result is more vital, toned and healthy looking skin with improved elasticity and texture.
Dr. Walden said this FDA approved machine involves a modest fat reduction and skin tightening over a period of time. The results are not instant from one treatment, but with multiple treatments this machine delivers results, said Dr. Walden.
Venus Freeze stomach treatments last roughly 40 minutes and facial and neck treatments usually take 20 minutes.
