Announcing Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center Fellowship
Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center is now offering cosmetic surgery performed by cutting edge plastic surgery fellows at a discounted rate. The fellows will be under Dr. Walden’s superb supervision in her practice. These surgeons have trained at some of the nation’s foremost plastic surgery training programs. Dr. Walden is a clinical assistant professor in the Dept. of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern and enjoys teaching to the next generation, and only accepts extraordinary candidates who show a tradition of excellence in their previous schooling and training.
Aesthetic Surgery Fellow Beginning on July 1, 2021
Dr. Tori Aimé
Dr. Tori Aimé is a female plastic surgeon with a background in biomedical engineering and a native of Arizona, and will be our aesthetic surgery fellow beginning on July 1, 2021! We are lucky to have Dr. Aimé joining us in Austin, Texas for the 2021-22 academic year. Follow her at @dr.tori_aime on IG!
Dr. Aimé will complete her integrated plastic surgery residency at The Mayo Clinic Arizona this June, and she attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. During medical school, she conducted scholarly research in the area of mucosal immunology, as well as honing her interest in the field of surgery. As an integrated plastic surgery resident, Dr. Aimé discovered the field of aesthetic surgery and applied her knowledge and academic background into creating beauty for her patients and conducting important research in the field. She has already written and been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Aesthetic Surgery Journal on critical topics of patient safety such as the article “Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis: A Survey of Plastic Surgeons’ Practices”
In her previous years, Dr. Aimé received her undergraduate and graduate training in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University. Her research interests at that time included wound healing, phage therapy, biofuel cells and STEM education. Dr. Aimé is an avid proponent of quality teaching and education and come from a family of educators. Clinically, she is interested in aesthetic surgery safety, congenital and acquired malformations/deformations and their impact on human form and function, as well as areas of expertise and interest the following: healthcare and biomedical science include plastic & reconstructive surgery, immunity, wound healing, medical devices, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Nicole Phillips, M.D.
In 2018, Dr. Phillips was chosen from a national pool of applicants to serve as resident ambassador to the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal. As part of her responsibilities in this role, she hosted monthly podcasts about plastic surgery featured on YouTube and in the Apple iTunes store. She was also elected by her peers to be the resident representative to the Harvard Plastic Surgery Executive Committee, and she has published numerous articles and book chapters on various topics in plastic surgery, including upper body contouring and gender disparities.
Prior to her career as a surgeon, Dr. Phillips was an actress and singer in New York City. She brought her unique perspective and artistic sensibility to every patient encounter. She is also an avid runner and has completed several marathons, including the 2016 Boston Marathon.

Rebekah Zaluzec, D.O.
Dr. Rebekah Zaluzec, our aesthetic surgery fellow, joins our practice from Chicago, Illinois. She is a board-certified general surgeon – with six years of clinical experience in one of the busiest trauma centers in Chicago, Mount Sinai Hospital!
In addition to her experience in general surgery, she is also a board eligible female Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon.
While at the University of Illinois, she was fortunate to work extensively in the Craniofacial Center, which is the oldest established center in the country, where she received extensive training in facial reconstruction for all types of patients. Her passion for high-quality surgical education and experience brings her to Austin, TX and The Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center.
All aspects of personal health and wellness of the body are a passion for Dr. Zaluzec. She holds a bachelor’s in science in Kinesiology (study of human movement/exercise physiology) from Arizona State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Prior to beginning her formal medical training, Dr. Zaluzec completed a yearlong apprenticeship with Power Pilates. She has a true, lifelong passion for health and fitness, and helping her clients and patients meet their fitness, personal and aesthetic goals. Her surgical interests focus on breast and body rejuvenation and reconstruction as well as facial aesthetics. She is also fully trained in non-surgical modalities such as Botox and filler injections and non-invasive fat reduction.
