Let's talk pain management:
Junera is an easy procedure to have. You sit back and relax with some nitrous oxide (laughing gas), request an anti-anxiety medication if you have a driver to get you home safely, and let's get to work. The treatment area is injected with local anesthesia and nerve blocks if needed. Many people fall asleep. We may wake you up halfway through -- because you gotta see this. Side by side. Your new face and your old face. Kind of amazing!
Downtime:
Some swelling with mild bruising possible. Tiny needle-poke ports where a cannula is inserted to apply the numbing. You wear kinesiology tape for 3-4 days to train your skin and help prevent swelling. Please avoid aspirin, Advil, NSAIDs, etc. before and for a couple of days post procedure.
