Making it happen! Those three words say it all! These talented and dedicated women are the glue that make up the office and operating room staff in the office of Dr. Jennifer Walden. Each one plays an integral role in the overall flow and functioning of the practice; no job or duty is too small or too large. We are proud to be a fully female-owned and operated business, and take pride in our work. We make it happen! (Don’t worry guys, we love our male patients too!).
Kristin Gunn, CLT, LME
Kristin Gunn is a medical aesthetician, skin care guru, and advanced level cosmetic injector. She specializes in subtle, natural-looking cosmetic filler injections, superior anti-aging tips and tricks, and facial rejuvenation with laser, BBL/IPL, and PiQo4 Tattoo Removal Laser technology. Kristin developed an interest in cosmetic surgery and dermatology when training to be a surgical technologist alongside plastic surgeons in the operating room. Over the years, she has worked in the busiest and most exclusive medspas and medical facilities throughout Central Texas.
Kristin is authentically Austin, and is also the owner of Skin and Tonic Studio and skin care blog. Fascinated by facial contouring, she has completed advanced training in Neurotoxins and Cosmetic Fillers, and has perfected her own technique over the years. Kristin is a top-level provider of non-surgical aesthetic facial rejuvenation including the use of neurotoxins (Botox and Dysport) as well as Juvederm, Radiesse, Voluma, Restylane and Restylane Lyft. She has also been trained in Restylane Silk, and Belotero for fine lines. Experience counts! Kristin has accumulated many happy clients over the years. The goal for all is beautiful, healthy and positively glowing skin.
Kristin also has years of experience coordinating services and scheduling surgical and nonsurgical patients within large aesthetic practices. Given her diverse yet relevant background, she serves as Dr. Walden’s medspa practice coordinator and helps direct the operations on a day-to-day basis. Previous experience at reputable Austin-based and operated facilities like Seton Healthcare as a surgery scheduler and a large skin care center have served her well on her professional journey that has led her to this position with our dynamic and talented staff! Frankie Young, RN
Frankie is a Registered Nurse who began her nursing career 11 years ago in a burn intensive care unit in San Francisco. During this time she also worked in the private practice of a plastic surgeon, gaining experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries. Frankie grew up in Alabama, then moved to California to attended the University of California at Davis, where she received a BA in International Relations. She worked in high tech PR for a few years before deciding to attend Columbia University School of Nursing in New York where she received her BS in Nursing in 2004.
Frankie is a “most loved” part of Dr Walden’s team by many of our patients due to the compassionate and competent care that she routinely provides, and is most often the operating room circulator and recovery room nurse. Frankie spends her spare time chasing her two young children, traveling, and serving on the board of directors for a local autism charity.
Karen Zizzo, FNP
Karen is a certified nurse practitioner who has practiced for several years in Austin. She obtained her undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she practiced primarily in the critical care area. She returned to school at the University of Texas at Austin where she received her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in family practice, neurology and over the last several years has worked in functional medicine and bio-identical hormone clinics. She is also an experienced injector of Botox, filler, and PRP procedures.
Karen is a big believer in the “big picture “ of health, wellness, and longevity. She has attended numerous hours of additional training with Institute of Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University and anti-aging medicine. She likes to drill down to the root cause of illness/disease and address the root cause of chronic illness instead of only treating with medications to assuage the symptoms. She is most proud of times when through reducing inflammation and making dietary and lifestyle changes, patients are able to eliminate many of their medications and disease states.
In her spare time, Karen and her husband enjoy traveling, wine tasting, and spending time with her three sons.
Beccah Maud, CST, CSFA
Beccah is a certified surgical first assistant with 16 years of operating room experience. She has scrubbed and assisted in nearly every surgical specialty with emphasis in recent years in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery. Beccah is the Perioperative Manager at Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center; she helps to run the operating room and perioperative areas and works with Dr. Walden to ensure quality care through maintenance of accreditation of the facility. You also may see her on the office side during minor procedures and office hours with medical clearance and preoperative testing coordination.
Beccah is a native of Pennsylvania, but has called Texas home for over 20 years. She has traveled to Guatemala on medical mission trips and enjoys helping people whom otherwise may not receive quality care. Volunteering for Austin Pets Alive is also something Beccah is passionate about.
Carli Baker, FNP-C
Carli is a Nurse Practitioner who began her nursing career six years ago. She studied at The University if Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences. She decided to further her education when she attended nursing school at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the Trauma/Surgical ICU at Ben Taub Hospital, a Level I trauma center in the Houston Medical Center. She then pursued her masters degree at UTMB as well, becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner two years ago. She worked in the urgent care setting before pursuing plastic surgery.
Carli loves interacting with patients and families, making them feel comfortable and providing excellent patient care. In her free time, Carli enjoys hiking with her husband and golden retriever Finley, as well as traveling, trying new restaurants and listening live music here is Austin.
Kimberly Chase has over 18 years experience in the medical administrative field. She resides in Kyle, Texas and enjoys the country life Kyle, Tx gives. Kim is the front office coordinator at Dr. Walden’s office and will assist you with scheduling and any questions that may arise.
Kim is passionate about her career at Jennifer Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center and loves helping people every single day. In Kim’s spare time, she enjoys bike riding, and any other outdoor activities.
Tracey Grant, Senior CLT, LMA, PBT
Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Cosmetic Injection Specialist, Senior Laser Technician, Licensed Phlebotomist.
Tracey approaches multimodal aesthetic treatments with a thorough and methodical touch. Knowledge of product characteristics paired with a unique artistic eye ensures her patients a natural style with subtle delivery of an array of injectable neuromodulators, dermal fillers & deoxcholic acids. Her in depth training and confidence in treatment settings with the leading skin resurfacing & correction lasers encompasses her patients with optimal aesthetic outcomes. Tracey’s drive for innovative techniques in anti-aging, enhancement, reversal & preventative care keeps her in the forefront of the constantly evolving aesthetic and cosmetic industry.
Her consistent education & training ranges from a broad based platform of courses, certifications and seminars provided by masters in the industry.

Hollis Schade, Front Desk Cordinator
Hollis is our front desk coordinator at the MedSpa at Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center in Westlake. Hollis Schade is a native Austinite with almost ten years of medical administrative experience under her belt. She has a degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin, hook ‘em horns! When she isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her son, going to concerts, and practicing Yoga.
Terra Yeske, LME
Terra Yeske of 512 Skincare is a fabulous aesthetician who brings a unique approach to skin health to Dr. Walden’s cosmetic surgery center including research, client education, and results. Terra states, “Skin care is only as good as the education behind it. I strive to provide a realistic approach to skin health and wellness. The power of professional treatments and products should not be overlooked. Treating yourself to regular facial treatments is essential to maintaining a regular pattern of exfoliation and healthy skin.” Terra has been involved in the health, wellness and beauty industry for 13 years. As the founder of 512Skincare, she specializes in corrective skin rejuvenation with a strong focus on internal and external factors that affect skin health. Each treatment is meticulously tailored to each client based on their goals, lifestyle and the results they wish to attain. You can now combine services that include in-office facial treatments, injectables, laser and cosmetic surgery; Terra and the team at Dr. Walden’s office will guide you on the path to your most beautiful self and transform your skin into a more vibrant, youthful state.
Portia Saucedo, LME
Portia attended Austin’s Avenue Five Institute for her aesthetics training, and has been an esthetician for two years.
After working in the industry for a year Portia wanted to further her professional skill set to more corrective, results driven skin care treatments. She returned to school and obtained a laser technician license, as well as certifications in Chemical Peels, IPL-Photofacial and Microneedling.
Portia was drawn to the industry by a desire to help clients meet their skin care and aesthetic goals. Portia enjoys educating clients and has a talent for making people feel comfortable and relaxed, while making sure they get the best results.
Born and raised in Austin, Portia enjoys outdoor activities as well as the music scene Austin has to offer and spending time with her family.
Katie Johns, LME
Katie is a licensed medical esthetician as well as a stellar makeup artist, and she performs customized consultations and makeovers at our Northwest Hills MedSpa location.
Katie’s career in makeup artistry coincided with her work in the entertainment industry as an R&B singer and model. Because of the many opportunities she received meeting different photographers and artists, Katie not only performed a show or walked the runway, but was also seen behind the scenes doing the makeup for the shows!
Katie decided to turn her love of makeup and skin into a full-fledged career and has been fortunate to work with incredible plastic surgeons, injectors and medical estheticians for over 14 years in various medical spas and plastic surgeons’ offices in Minneapolis and Texas. After 14 years working in aesthetic sales, she decided to pursue her license as an esthetician and received her training at Avenue Five in Austin, TX. Because of her experience conducting skincare and dermal filler consultations and working with many different skin types and age groups over the years, Katie takes a very artistic approach to skincare and anti-aging. She considers the entire canvas and provides a thorough plan for skin renewal and anti-aging. She says that “anti-aging and healthy skin takes a multi-faceted approach and, most importantly, requires maintenance and care.” Her goal is to ensure that clients come away feeling like the best version of themselves because Katie’s opinion is: “When we feel our best on the outside, our inner beauty is truly what is revealed.”
Brooke is one of our front office administrators committed to ensuring that our patients receive the best service from the moment they check in to the time they check out. She is in charge of maintaining medical records within the office, scheduling appointments and checking patients in and out.
On top of being a staple member of the front office staff Brooke is also an experienced Medical Aesthetician whom you may see on both office and medspa sides. She obtained her Esthetician license from Aveda beauty school and her laser license from Texas Laser and Aesthetics training academy right here in Austin.
As a member of Dr.Walden’s staff, Brooke strives not only to treat but also educate our medspa patients before, during and after treatments so that the patient is well informed and results are maximized. Dedicated to her craft, Brooke is always learning about new products and services to better serve and educate our patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time quality time with her daughter and husband.
Coco Cave, LME
Coco is one of our front office administrators and is an experienced medical aesthetician whom you may see on both office and medspa sides; she also performs many aesthetic procedures. Coco is in charge of medical photography and also assists in maintenance of medical records within the office. As an aesthetician, Coco possesses knowledge and training in radiofrequency including ThermiVa vaginal rejuvenation and Venus Legacy, as well as microneedling, dermaplaning, laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, facials, and more. Coco’s goal is not only to treat, but also educate our medspa patients before, during and after treatments so that all experiences are both enjoyable and positive. Coco is always learning about new products and services to better serve our patients with a smile on her face. In her free time, Coco enjoys spending time with her daughter and fiance at the park and working out.
Errin Kelley-Estrada, Front Desk Cordinator
Errin was born and Raised in Austin, TX and attended school at Avenue Five for her Cosmetology License. Errin has over 3 years of experience in salons and spas. Since she was a little girl, she has always wanted to work in the beauty industry and help clients feel the best about themselves. Errin loves helping patients figure out what works best for them and their lifestyle. There is nothing better than helping someone feel more comfort in their own skin. In her spare time she loves hanging out with her son, reading, cinema, music, and French food!
