How does it work?
Restylane Silk is a clear, hyaluroic acid gel that has been formulated specifically for the lips and surrounding areas of the face. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the human body. Its job is to plump and hydrate the skin. It does this by binding with water molecules. Because the skin around the mouth is delicate, Restylane Silk is formulated with smaller particles in a smooth texture. Its smoothness makes Silk very accurate when placed, an important fact for the lips.
What are the results Silk will give me?
Studies by the manufacture of Silk have results that show 98 percent of patients noticed significant improvement in the fullness of their lips and surrounding wrinkles 14 days after their injections. From there, results last around six months.
