Amber is Dr. Walden’s social media and blogging assistant. She writes weekly about Dr. Walden’s news, events, and plastic surgery topics. A California native, Amber moved to Austin when she was 10 years old. At 16 she tested out of Austin area Lake Travis High School to attend college early at Lamar University. In the summer of 2013, she interned with Dr. Walden at her Austin-based office. Amber was a key member in Dr. Walden’s #LiveOR team during that Summer, which succeeded in maintaining a live Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Vine feed of a six-hour procedure. The multi-platform coverage of the surgery online was a groundbreaking moment in the plastic surgery industry and was featured on Fox 7 News.
As a National Merit and National Achievement Scholar, Amber looks forward to graduating two years early from college.
