Looking Good and Living Well with Dr. Jennifer Walden: Sculpsure Noninvasive Laser Fat Reduction
- Posted on: Nov 9 2016
Dr. Walden was recently featured on KVUE for her recurring segment: Looking Good and Living Well with Dr. Jennifer Walden. On Looking Good and Living Well, Dr. Walden will cover specific beauty and wellness topics from a plastic surgery perspective. It’s almost like having a consultation from the comfort of your own home!
This week Dr. Walden was featured on KVUE to talk about laser procedure SculpSure. SculpSure quickly treats stubborn fat pockets on the body by triggering fat destruction with controlled heat damage to fat cells. Since SculpSure is targeted, treatments can be used to remove specific fat deposits unresponsive to diet and exercise. Common areas include the flanks, lower abdomen, inner thighs, and back fat deposits. Clinical trials have shown over 20% of targeted fat reduced in one sitting. A single Sculpsure treatment is 25 minutes and noninvasive. In fact, patients are able to be fully active immediately following a SculpSure treatment. Results are usually seen around 1-2 months and only 1 treatment is needed for most patients.
Our very own board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Walden experienced the transformative effects of SculpSure. Dr. Walden even broadcasted the results on Looking Good and Living Well to show how easy a SculpSure procedure really is. Before the 25 minute procedure, paddles are placed onto the targeted areas. Dr. Walden decided to target the abdomen. In the video, you can see just how relaxed Dr. Walden is during the procedure. She was able to answer emails on her phone and talk to the esthetician as SculpSure worked on reducing the fat deposits on her abdomen. As a mother of twins, Dr. Walden’s body has responded normally to the physical stress of childbirth. However, SculpSure has shown a significant reduction on her abdomen. Not only is SculpSure offered by Dr. Walden, she can absolutely recommend it first hand.
