Dr. Walden was recently honored to be invited to speak to the premed honor society at the University of Texas. This was an opportunity for her and other female surgeons to share experiences with pre-med students about the field and how the entire landscape of healthcare in America is changing. Dr. Walden is female plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas who is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and frequently volunteers her time mentoring young women who are interested in a career in surgery.
